The Watch

Here's a collaboration: the 2019 Autodromo x Worn & Wound Group B Series 2 Windup Edition, Limited to 145 pieces, is inspired by the Group B Rally cars, which were built with space-aged materials and jacked up for the race. Worn & Wound is a leading online resource for news, reviews, guides, and videos focused on watches, it is a one-stop shop for watch enthusiasts, offering information, a community, and the opportunity to buy new timepieces. A tonneau-shaped 39mm brushed stainless steel mid-case is plated in a matte finished Titanium grey PVD with a slim profile and distinctive angled drilled lugs, a case thickness of 9.5mm and a lug-to-lug length of 51mm give the watch an impressive wrist presence. A hexangular signed crown plated in Titanium grey PVD is on the right side. The smooth Titanium bezel holds a flat sapphire crystal with a chamfered edge that lifts it above the striking multi-dimensional monochromatic grey and electric blue dial, inspired by the legendary rally cars of the 1980s, a raised 60-minute chapter ring with electric blue indexes marking the hours, resembling the tachometer of this iconic car, the centre disc has two screws and the distinctive Autodromo hands outlined and filled in electric blue are complemented by a tapered yellow tipped sweeping second hand. At 12 o’clock, we have the Autodromo motif and at 6 o’clock, “Group B'' in a stylised font. On the reverse, a Titanium screwed-down case back with the Autodromo logo in the centre, inside an automatic Miyota Cal. 9015, 24 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour; this premium movement has hand winding and hacking for your convenience. The watch comes fitted with its original 22mm Autodromo integrated style bracelet stainless steel plated in a matte finished Titanium grey PVD with a signed concealed deployment clasp; all links are provided, plus a 21mm Admiralty Grey ADPT NATO strap secured by a pin buckle and the watch comes with its Autodromo presentation box and paperwork

Personal Note

Autodromo is a brand I have been a fan of for some time, the watches they produce and their amazing designs speak for themselves, but more than that their value is unquestionable. We have this fantastic Worn & Wound Group B Series 2 Windup Edition with an interesting dark shade to the case, light tone to the dial and hints of baby blue! I would not hesitate to add this one to your collection today!

The Brand

Autodromo was founded in 2011 by designer Bradley Price. Price is a lifelong motorsport fan, and his designs combine vintage appeal with modern flair.
