The Watch
Here we have a 2018 Unimatic U1-EM Black Limited to 400 pieces. The 41.5mm brushed stainless steel case curves in all the right places, and a lug-to-lug length of 48.5mm and a thickness of 13mm ensure a comfortable fit on your wrist. On the right side, is a signed screw-down crown protected by crown guards. Its 120-click uni-directional sterile bezel has a lume pip at 12. A sapphire crystal AR coated sits above a matte black dial, large disc and baton indexes outlined with Super-LumiNova C1 White mark the hours, and broad phantom ladder hands filled with the same Super-LumiNova C1 White lume are complemented by a black reverse lollipop second hand with a white tip. At 6 o’clock we have the Unimatic motif Made in “Italy 1000ft-330m” completing this distinctive stealthy sports watch. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with a deeply engraved Unimatic conversion scale and its number out of 400, inside an automatic Seiko NH35A, 24 jewels, 21,600 beats per hour. The watch comes paired with three Unimatic 22mm straps with signed buckles and also comes with its Unimatic presentation box and papers.

Personal Note
I have been fortunate enough to have sold 50+ Unimatics over the years and I regularly get in models I have never had, like this limited edition U1-EM we have here. The contrast is everything for this model, the deep black and the vibrant white, it works perfectly and is incredibly legible. If you want something quintessential Unimatic, this U1 is one to consider!
