Here we have a 2018 Sinn Modell EZM 3 this model is designed for the toughest dive jobs. The 41mm bead-blasted stainless steel case has angled taped lugs. A lug to lug length of 47.5mm and a thickness of 12.5mm gives the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right top lug, we have a release valve which is part of the AR-Dehumidifying system. A screw-down crown with a double O-ring positioned to relieve pressure on the wearer’s wrist is on the left side. A uni-directional stainless steel bezel has a dive insert coated in luminescence. A flat sapphire crystal AR coated on both sides sits above a matte black dial. An outer minute chapter ring with applied baton indexes mark the hours. Small Arabic numerals run around the inside edge. Between the 3 and 4 position a date window. The sword hands are coated in luminescence and complemented by a tapered sweeping seconds hand with a lumed tip. The text is precisely printed. The red AR signifies Ar-Dehumidifying Technology which has been developed to provide a gas-filled inner case with an almost totally dry atmosphere which helps to prevent fogging of the crystal when subjected to extremes of temperature and pressure and prevents aging of the oils which can happen when they become exposed to moisture. A number of seals help keep the gas in and the moisture out. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with “EZM 3” engraved at the top and “SINN” at the bottom. Inside an Automatic Sellita SW200-1, 26 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. The movement has a solid soft iron sheath (similar to a Faraday Cage) around the movement that protects the accuracy of the watch when exposed to high magnetic fields. The watch comes fitted on a SINN 20mm strap with a signed buckle. Comes with its SINN presentation box and papers.
