This watch is sold with its original Mercer Box & Paperwork. The watch comes paired on its original Mercer leather strap with a signed buckle. The watch is from November 2018 and is in fantastic condition as you can see from the photos, likely worn only a handful of times altogether. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

The Watch

Mercer Watch Co. was founded in 2014 by Scott Vuocolo. Based in New Jersey, USA. The brand is named after Hugh Mercer, a doctor and Brigadier General in the Continental Army.

Here we have a Mercer Watch Co Airfoil Vanilla - SQ4410476. Taking its design cues from pilot watches of the past. The 40mm hardened coated stainless steel case goes through a proprietary process they call ‘ruggedized’ the applied DLC coat is hardened rather than the stainless steel itself. This process makes it more resistant to scratches. The tapered lugs with a lug to lug length and a case thickness of 11.6mm ensures a comfortable fit on your wrist. The satin-brushed finish adds to the tool watch aesthetic. On the right side is a signed screw-down crown with the “M'' motif. A double-domed sapphire crystal sits above a “Vanilla” dial. An outer raised chapter ring in black with SuperLumNova dots at the hours. Applied polished numerals and baton indexes mark the hours. At 12 o’clock a red triangle, at 6 o’clock a framed date window. Sword-style hands are coated in SuperLumiNova and outlined in black complemented by a red second hand. Text is precisely printed with the Mercer motif at 12 o’clock and “Airfoil '' with a red “Automatic” at 6 o’clock completing this striking pilot-inspired watch. On the reverse a screw-down exhibition case back with sapphire crystal. Inside an Automatic Sellita SW200-1, 26 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. It has hacking functionality for your convenience. The rotor is decorated in blue with Mercer around the bottom edge. The watch comes fitted on a Mercer 20mm Shell Cordovan strap with a signed buckle. The watch comes with its Mercer presentation box and papers.

Personal Note

A brand that has unfortunately closed down and no longer makes watches, which is a real shame as this is built incredibly well, beautifully designed, and featuring an absolute workhorse movement! Originally limited to 50 watches too, you won't be finding many of these popping up, especially in this condition too!
