2018 Farer Ponting GMT 39mm Silver Dial Automatic

Here we have an early 2018 Farer Ponting with a polished and brushed 39mm stainless steel case that curves over your wrist with finely tapered lugs; a lug-to-lug length of 45.5mm and a case thickness of 10.5mm ensures a comfortable fit. On the right side is a bronze-capped signed crown with the Farer “A”. A smooth stepped bezel holds a domed box glass sapphire crystal above a sunburst silver dial, an outer minute track precisely executed in dark blue and orange surrounding blue Arabic numeral indices coated in SuperLumiNova marking the hours above a 24-hour centre ring of orange numerals, blue syringe style hands filled with SuperLumiNova is complemented by an orange GMT hand and yellow arrowhead sweeping second hand, at 3 o’clock a circular date window, at 12 o’clock we have the Farer motif and printed underneath “GMT Automatic” at 6 o’clock complete this colourful travel companion. On the reverse, a screwed-down exhibition case back, inside an automatic ETA Cal. 2893-2, 21 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, this quality movement has hand winding, hacking seconds and adjustable GMT hand at position 2 of the crown. The watch comes paired with its quick-release 20mm Farer leather strap, and the watch comes with its Farer presentation box, swing tag and papers.
