2018 Farer Ponting Black GMT Limited Edition 39.5mm

Here we have an early 2018 Farer Ponting Black GMT Limited Edition of 100 pieces. At its launch in 2018, Farer took the watch to the famous Ace Cafe London in an iconic 1956 Jaguar XK140 SE Fixed Head Coupe and a 2018 Royal Enfield Himalayan motorbike, both symbolising great British design and engineering. Featuring a 39.5mm black DLC-coated stainless steel case that curves over your wrist with finely tapered lugs, its curvaceous flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 45mm, and a case thickness of 11mm ensures a comfortable fit. On the right side is a black DLC-coated signed crown with the Farer “A”. A smooth stepped bezel holds a domed box glass sapphire crystal above a black dial, an outer minute chapter ring surrounding Arabic numeral indices coated in SuperLumiNova marking the hours above a 24-hour centre ring, blue syringe style hands filled with SuperLumiNova is complemented by a red GMT hand and green arrowhead sweeping second hand, at 3 o’clock a circular colour matched date window, at 12 o’clock we have the Farer motif and printed underneath “GMT Automatic” at 6 o’clock complete this colourful travel companion. On the reverse, a screwed-down exhibition case back houses an automatic ETA Cal. 2893-2, featuring 21 jewels and beating at 28,800 beats per hour. This high-quality movement offers hand-winding, hacking seconds, and an adjustable GMT hand at position 2 of the crown. It comes paired with its quick-release 20mm Farer leather strap, and the watch comes with its Farer presentation box, swing tag and papers.
