Description

Here we have an early co-branded 2018 DOXA SUB 300T Divingstar 'Poseidon Edition' Limited 500 pieces. Poseidon is a Swedish manufacturer and innovator of cutting-edge diving equipment. This is a faithful recreation of the rare 1970s yellow dial DOXA Poseidon SUB 300T Divingstar. Featuring a 43mm 316L stainless steel tonneau-shaped case that sits on your wrist like a cushion with flat-ended lugs. Its curvaceous flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 44.5mm and a case thickness of 13.5mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side is a signed screw-down crown. On the left side is an automatic Helium escape valve developed with Rolex. The unidirectional dive bezel features the yellow metric US Navy’s no-decompression limits scale patented by Doxa in 1967, and a second bezel with a 60-minute scale. A scratch-resistant sapphire flat crystal recalls the thick mineral crystals used in the original Divingstar. The vibrant yellow crosshair dial features an outer minute track with applied baton indexes coated in yellow Super‑LumiNova marking the hours; at 3 o’clock, a framed date window; and a thin black minute hand and a thick black hour hand, complemented by a sweeping second hand, all filled in white Super‑LumiNova. In the top left corner, we have the DOXA ‘Automatic’ motif, in the bottom right “, SUB 300T Divingstar”, and in the bottom left corner, the co-branded ‘Poseidon’ logo completes this vibrant dive tool watch. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with the engraved DOXA fish symbol on top of a wave pattern and the 500, inside an automatic ETA 2824-2, 25 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. It comes paired with its DOXA 20mm 316L stainless steel “Beads of Rice” bracelet secured by a signed folding flip lock clasp and dive extension. It will fit up to a 7.1-inch wrist, and the watch comes with its DOXA presentation box, swing tag and papers.

About DOXA

Doxa was established in 1889 in Le Locle, Switzerland, by Georges Ducommun. In 1921, Doxa became Bugatti's supplier of dash clocks. In 1925, Georges became the vice president of the Swiss Horology Society. 1936 saw Georges' passing, and the company was now in the hands of son-in-law Jaques Nardin, the grandson of Ulysse Nardin. In 1944, the company was renamed “Manufacture des Montres DOXA”. The company was finally sold in 1997 to the Jenny family, transferring their headquarters to Bienne, Switzerland.
