Here we have a rare 2017 Nomos Lambda 39 18ct Rose Gold Power Reserve 953 featuring a beautiful 39mm polished 18ct rose gold case that gently curves over your wrist, with slender tapered lugs. The 48mm lug-to-lug length and 9.5mm case thickness ensure a remarkably comfortable, elegant fit. On the right side, a signed crown sits proud of the case for smooth manual winding. An ultra-thin polished bezel holds a domed sapphire crystal on both sides above a striking, expansive galvanised white silver-plated dial. The dial features a prominent, beautifully swept 48-hour power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock, counterbalanced by a generous sub-seconds register at 6 o’clock. Elegant, wafer-thin tempered blue steel stick hands sweep across minimalist printed dot-and-line indices, while the Nomos motif sits cleanly below the power reserve arc to complete this haute horlogerie creation. On the reverse, a screwed-down exhibition case back showcases the breathtaking, in-house manually wound Nomos Calibre DUW 1001, boasting 29 jewels and twin mainspring barrels. The movement is a true work of art from the NOMOS Atelier, displaying a hand-engraved balance cock reading "Mit Liebe in Glashütte hergestellt" (Lovingly produced in Glashütte), sunbeam-polished winding wheels, screwed gold chatons, and hand-polished bevelled edges. The watch comes paired with a 20mm StrapTailor leather strap and a solid 18ct rose gold signed pin buckle. The watch comes complete with its original Nomos presentation box and paperwork.
