This watch is sold with its original Glycine Box & Paperwork. The watch comes paired on its original Glycine rubber strap with a signed buckle. The watch is from October 2017 and is in fantastic condition as you can see from the photos, likely worn only a handful of times altogether. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

The Watch

Glycine is a brand that has been around for a long time, since 1914 (A rough time to start a company) but is most known for its Airman series which debuted in 1953 and was designed for pilots with useful GMT functions.

Here we have a Glycine Combat Sub - 3908.19AT-N-D9 with a 42mm brushed stainless steel case. The case curves over your wrist with a lug to lug length and a case thickness of 11mm giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side is a signed screw-down crown protected by crown guards. The unidirectional dive bezel has a black insert with silver numerals. A flat sapphire crystal sits above a black dial. An outer orange chapter ring with lume plots at the hours. SuperLuiNova coated Arabic numerals mark the hours. Just below we have the 24-hour numerals. At 3 o’clock a framed date window. Orange hands coated in SuperLumiNova complemented by an orange second hand. Text is precisely printed with the Glycine logo at 12 o’clock. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with seals and trident embossed in the center. Inside an Automatic ETA 2824-2 or Sellita SW 200-1. The watch comes fitted on its original Glycine rubber strap with a signed buckle. The watch comes with its Glycine presentation box and papers.

Personal Note

Glycine is a brand that has been making incredible watches for many years at great prices, the Combat Subs being some of my favourites and this reference is definitely up there! Paired on a super thick and beautifully vanilla-scented rubber strap, it really does feel like a go anywhere and do anything kind of watch.
