Here we have a 2016 Garrick Norfolk 'Special' White Dial taking its inspiration from maritime instruments. This is the first model to showcase the brand's innovative DNA, with a curvaceous 42mm polished and brushed stainless steel case that curves over your wrist thanks to the tapered lugs. Inside an you will find instead of the usual manual wind Unitas 6497, the customer upgraded it to the Garrick Cal SM001 manual wind movement, a modified Unitas 6498 NOS manual wind movement.

Description

Here we have a 2016 Garrick Norfolk 'Special' White Dial taking its inspiration from maritime instruments. This is the first model to showcase the brand's innovative DNA, with a curvaceous 42mm polished and brushed stainless steel case that curves over your wrist thanks to the tapered lugs. The polished top surface of the lugs leads to a lug-to-lug length of 50.5mm and a case thickness of 13mm, ensuring a comfortable fit on your wrist. On the right side, an onion crown. The smooth, polished bezel holds a sapphire crystal AR-coated above a stunning white enamel dial, crafted from machined silver with an enamel coating applied to both sides to prevent warping. Designed by Freelance designer Michael Horlbeck and David Brailsford. An outer minute track features long markers at the hour, surrounding an applied stainless steel nameplate, and sub-seconds with the same style hands. The in-house maritime-themed hands are thermally blued and resemble anchors. On the reverse a screw-down exhibition case back engraved with the details of the watch around its edge, inside an you will find instead of the usual manual wind Unitas 6497 the customer upgraded it to the Garrick Cal SM001 manual wind movement, a modified Unitas 6498 NOS manual wind movement, as found in their Shaftbury SM301 model released in 2015, beating at a leisurely 18,000 beats per hour, the balance bridge is separated from the main plate removing the standard regulator, adding a free-sprung balance, it has hacking seconds, decorated with gold-plating, thermally blued screws and Cotes de Geneve stripes. It comes paired with two 22mm Garrick straps with its original Garrick Watchmakers signed pin buckle. This watch is sold with its original Garrick Watchmakers presentation box and paperwork.

I am excited to bring this fantastic special order Garrick Norfolk to the website after it has just received a service with Garrick themselves. The customer upgraded the movement to the Garrick Cal SM001 manual wind movement, a modified Unitas 6498 NOS manual wind movement, as found in their Shaftbury SM301 model released in 2015. The balance bridge is separated from the main plate, removing the standard regulator and adding a free-sprung balance. I would not hesitate to snap this gem up today!
