Personal Note

There is something undeniably awesome about the pilot design on the wrist, especially when in a wearable format like this Fortis Aviatis Cockpit Two in a 41mm by 47mm case. This reference ticks all the design features, including a day/date window in a configuration resembling the Altimeter found in a cockpit and super legible sword hands. Powered by the ever-reliable ETA 2836-2, it is a workhorse too. Though the best part is the value for money, at way under £1,000, these are great pickups for those wanting a pilot's watch without breaking the bank. Snap it up into your collection today!

About Fortis

FORTIS was founded in 1912 by Walter Vogt; their headquarters and factory are based in Grenchen, Switzerland. In 1926, Walter joined forces with the inventor of the automatic movement, John Harwood, to mass-produce the world's first automatic watch. In 1962, Rolf Vogt, son of the founder, handed over to NASA the Spacematic AR (All Risks) designed by FORTIS. 2003 saw the introduction of the official Cosmonaut Chronograph, which is still worn today as official equipment by Russian Cosmonauts, very much like the Omega Speedmaster Professional is still the official NASA watch.
