Mondaine is today well known for their Railway themed watches that have been licensed from the Swiss Federal Railways since 1986, but their history goes back to 1951 where the Mondaine Watch Company was founded by former tailor Erwin Blenheim in Zurich, Switzerland.
Our Mondaine Sea Devil has a 37mm cushion case with polished and brushed beveled edges and crisp lines. A friction fit dive bezel supports a domed crystal. The grey dial has an egg-shell outer minute track with lume pips. Broad double baton indexes have a lume top section marking the hours. At 3 o’clock a date window. Broad baton hands with a center seconds hand. On the reverse a screw-down case back with a diver in the center. Inside an Automatic Felsa Cal. 4007N, 25 Jewels, 18,000 beats per hour. Fitted on an 18mm mesh strap.

This watch is sold as "Watch Only" and therefore comes with no original Mondaine boxes or paperwork. The watch comes paired on an 18mm stainless steel mesh bracelet. The watch is from Circa. 1960s and is sold in worn/vintage condition, therefore signs of wear and aging will be seen. The watch comes with our 12-Months NON-Waterproof Warranty.
Having sold a vintage Mondaine chronograph with a stunning silver dial I just couldn't pass the opportunity to stock this beautiful silver dial diver! Vintage Mondaine is really underrated, especially pieces like this that really should be up there with the "Devil Diver" pieces of other brands. Maybe give it some time and these will be up there...
