2015 Aevig Valkyr Bronze Case with Black Dial / Green Bezel 39mm

Here is a 2015 Aevig Valkyr with a black dial and green bezel—a chunky 39mm Bronze tonneau-shaped case. Aggressive angled lugs with bevel edges have a pronounced slope over your wrist. A lug-to-lug length of 47mm and a case thickness of 13.5mm give the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side is a signed screw-down crown with a red painted Aevig “aperture” logo in the centre. The smooth, polished bezel features an olive green ceramic insert, giving it the appearance of Bakelite used on vintage watches. A wide, bevel-edged, double-domed sapphire crystal, AR-coated on the inside, sits above a matte black dial. An outer minute chapter ring has lume plots at the hours, adding a sporty appeal. Applied rose gold-coloured baton indexes, filled with SuperLumiNova BGW9, mark the hours. The polished rose gold-coloured hands are precisely angled, filled with SuperLumiNova BGW9, and complemented by a red, tapered, sweeping second hand. At 12 o’clock, we have the applied Aevig “aperture” logo with Aevig printed underneath. At 6 o’clock, we have “Automatic” and “Valkyr” in yellow, adding a pop of colour in contrast to the dial. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with the Aevig “aperture” logo etched into the centre. Inside an automatic Miyota 9015, 24 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. The movement was first introduced in 2009 and has hacking for your convenience. The watch comes fitted with a thick, padded 20mm brown leather rally sports strap and a pin buckle.
