The Watch

Maria and Richard Habring founded Habring² in 2004 in Volkermarkt, Austria. Richard Habrings career started as a watchmaker at IWC under the mentorship of Günter Blümlein. He had a major role in the development of their double chronograph. With help from his wife, they are creating watches that continue the remarkable horology of Austria.

Here we have a very early and rare 2014 Habring² Felix White "Number 4" with Cal. A11B with a 38.5mm stainless steel round case. Long slim lugs with a lug to lug length of 46mm will ensure a comfortable fit on your wrist. At 8mm thick it has an elegant profile. Polished and brushed surfaces transition perfectly, capturing the light as you move your wrist. Its polished bezel holds a flat sapphire crystal. On the right side is a screw-down crown with double seals. Between the lugs at 6 o’clock, you will find the consecutive engraved serial number this one is an early No.#04.  The white dial has a granular texture. A Roman 12 with black slim baton indexes marking the hours. At 9 o’clock a recessed sub-seconds register. Elegant steel slim baton hands finish off this classic dial. On the reverse an exhibition case back with sapphire crystal. Inside a Manually Wound Habring Cal. A11B, 18 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. This movement is the first true in-house Austrian-made manufacturer for many generations. In 2015 they won the “Petite Aiguille” prize at GPGH ( Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève) An antimagnetic escapement with a Carl Haas hairspring to Chronometer standards. KIF shock protection complies with DIN and NIHS standards. This in-house movement has only 99 parts of which 50 are serviceable. Its decoration is done by expert hands. The watch comes fitted on its Habring² 20mm leather strap with a signed buckle and also comes with its Habring² presentation box and papers.

Personal Note

I feel very lucky to be able to offer the 4th signed Felix in White with the A11B Caliber! The best part is the value is still undeniable for such a beautifully designed and well-built watch from a brand that is, rightfully so, increasing in popularity year on year without fail! I've been fortunate to have sold multiple Habring over the years and 2021 has certainly been the year they have seen more attention than ever before.
