Here we have a 2013 TAG Heuer Carrera Twin-Time Auto WV2115. The polished 39mm stainless steel case features tapered, twisted lugs, a lug-to-lug length of 47mm, and a case thickness of 12mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. We have a large, signed crown on the right side with deep knurling. A slim, polished bezel holds a bevel-edged sapphire crystal above the matte black dial. An outer 24-hour chapter ring surrounds a minute track, precisely executed above applied polished stepped steel batons that mark the hours. At 3 o’clock, a colour-matched date window. Slender steel hands filled with lume are complemented by a tapered sweeping second hand and a red triangle GMT hand. At noon, the Carrera TAG Heuer motif, and at 6 o’clock, ‘Twin-Time Automatic’, which perfectly complements this classic dial. On the reverse, an exhibition case back is engraved with the details of the watch around its edge, featuring an Automatic ETA 2893-2 movement with 21 jewels and a beat rate of 28,800 beats per hour. The movement includes a GMT module, quickest date, hacking seconds, and hand-winding for your convenience. It comes paired with its original full-size 19mm Tag Heuer polished and brushed stainless steel bracelet secured by a push-button signed deployant clasp; all links are provided. This exact reference was almost my first larger watch purchase back when I worked in retail; it was narrowly beaten by the Tudor BB36, which I no longer own, but would this have stayed?
