Points of Mention
This watch is sold with its original Schofield box and Schofield paperwork. The watch comes paired with an original Schofield 24mm strap and an original Schofield signed buckle, the strap doesn't have much life left in and we would recommend a new strap for the watch. The watch is from Circa. 2013 and is in worn condition, signs of wear can be seen with some of the black DLC wearing away. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

The Watch
Here we have a 2013 Schofield Signalman DLC GMT PR Black Limited to 100, inspired by the 18th and 19th-century Lighthouses found around the UK coastline. It has a 43.5mm stainless steel case with its shape based on the powerful lights used in a Lighthouse, it is Black DLC coated for a matte finish. The case has a 4 part patented construction of stainless steel which explains its 51mm lug-to-lug length and 14.5mm thickness on the outside and a 2 part anti-magnetic movement shell. On the right side, the crown has 2 gaskets. The sapphire crystal sits just under the lip of the bezel and it has AR Coating for better viewing. The black dial is made of brass and coated in copper oxide to give it the matte black appearance, it is multi-levelled with the applied steel numerals and hollowed-out non-numeral indexes infilled with SuperLumiNova C1 on the top level while the power reserve indicator, GMT Subdial, and a date window at 3 o’clock are recessed on the lower level. The pusher for the GMT is unusually built into and through the lug assembly. Its diamond-polished hands are held by tiny pins and filled with Superluminova C1. On the back is a screw-down case back with Smeaton’s lighthouse engraving radiating light from the Fresnel lens. Inside an Automatic Swiss Soprod Cal. 9335/A10 based on the Soprod Alternance 10 Calibre (A10) movement with the 9335 module placed on top to handle the Power Reserve and the GMT complications, 25 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per Hour. The watch comes paired with a Schofield 24mm leather strap with a signed buckle and the watch comes with its Schofield presentation box and paperwork.
Personal Note
I am a big fan of Schofield watches and we have had multiple over the years, all of which have sold fairly quickly for a smaller brand, Schofield really has created a well-respected brand with a large core following. The more British brands that grow in popularity the better!
The Brand
In 2011 at Salon QP in London Giles Ellis introduced the world to his Schofield brand. Based just north of Brighton in Sussex on the south coast of the UK. He is part of the British watchmaking revival.
