Here we have the charismatic 2012 Schofield Signalman GMT Polished Limited Edition to 300 pieces. It is inspired by the 18th and 19th-century Lighthouses found around the UK coastline. It features a 44mm mirror-polished stainless steel case, whose shape is inspired by the powerful lights used in a Lighthouse. The case features a four-part, patented construction of polished stainless steel, which accounts for its 15mm thickness on the outside and a two-part anti-magnetic movement shell. The crown has two gaskets, and the double-domed sapphire crystal sits just under the lip of the bezel, it has an AR Coating for better viewing. The black dial is made of brass and coated in copper oxide to give it the black; it is multi-levelled with the applied polished numerals and indexes on the top level, while the power reserve indicator and GMT Subdial, a date window at three o’clock, are recessed on the lower level. The pusher for the GMT is unusually built into, and through the lug assembly, and to activate it, you use the special tool included in the box. Its diamond-polished hands are held by tiny pins and filled with Superluminova, complemented by a red-tipped sweeping second hand. On the back, a screw-down case back with a Lighthouse engraving radiating light, inside an automatic Swiss Soprod Cal. 9335 based on the Soprod Alternance 10 Calibre (A10) movement with the 9335 module placed on top to handle the Power Reserve and the GMT complications, 25 jewels, 28,800 beats per Hour. It is paired with two 24mm Schofield straps secured with a signed pin buckle and comes with its Schofield presentation box, cloth, special tool for the GMT and paperwork.
