Here we have a 2011 Fabergé Agathon Small Seconds featuring an exquisite 40mm 18ct Rose Gold case that gently curves over your wrist with fine tapered hallmarked lugs. Its curved flanks lead to a comfortable lug-to-lug length of 47mm and a case thickness of 9.5mm. On the right side, a beautiful onion crown set with a delicate 0.16ct sapphire cabochon. Personal Note

This is my first experience with a Fabergé watch, and I am very impressed, especially for the price this can be snapped up at on our website. This is the Fabergé Agathon Small Seconds, from 2011, in a 40mm 18ct Rose Gold case. It features a F.Piguet movement with hand engraved rotor, but the star of the show is that dial. The dial is an incredibly rich-toned sunray guilloche Flinque honey enamel dial made by the German master jeweller Victor Mayer. The rare Flinque technique involves multiple layers of enamel delicately applied over the engraved guilloche pattern to create this exceptional dial. About Fabergé

Fabergé is renowned for its exquisite jewellery and artistry, particularly the famous Imperial Easter Eggs. The story began in 1842 but truly flourished under Peter Carl Fabergé after he was appointed as the official goldsmith to the Russian Imperial Court in 1885. Peter Carl took over his father’s jewellery business in 1870 and added watches and clocks to his impressive creations. These timepieces blended luxury with art, showcasing intricate designs and high-quality materials. Often, the movements used in these watches were sourced from respected Swiss manufacturers like Vacheron Constantin and H. Moser & Cie. Although the House of Fabergé was at its peak until the Russian Revolution in 1917, when the Bolsheviks nationalised the business and forced Peter Carl to flee, its legacy endured. After he died in 1920, the Fabergé name changed hands multiple times, leading to its use on a range of products, including cosmetics and perfumes. In 2007, the Fabergé family regained the rights to the name, marking a fresh start for the brand. The company further revitalised itself in 2013 through a merger with Gemfields, a supplier of ethically sourced coloured gemstones, returning to its roots in high-end jewellery and watchmaking. Fabergé is owned by SMG Capital LLC, a US investment company that acquired the luxury brand from Gemfields in August 2025.
