Here we have a 2010s Tissot PRS 516 Retrograde Chronograph Quartz featuring a 40mm tonneau-shaped stainless steel case that curves over your wrist, tapered flat-ended lugs. Its curved flanks lead to a comfortable lug-to-lug length of 50.5mm and a case thickness of 11mm. On the right side, we have the chronograph pushers and a signed coin-edged crown in the centre. A black bezel features a yellow Tachymeter scale and markings holding a domed sapphire crystal above a dynamic matte black dial. A 60-minute chapter ring with a checker pattern and arrows showing that it runs in reverse. Applied baton indexes filled with Super-LumiNova mark the hours. The Retrograde chronograph features a 30-minute register, a 1/10th-second register, and a running seconds register, each precisely indicated by a yellow hand. The Chronograph hand moves in the opposite direction, completing a full rotation in 30 seconds. After those 30 seconds are up, a small counter at the 2 o'clock position will tick up by one number to show that the first half-minute has passed. This process continues, with the counter incrementing every 30 seconds, until a total of 5 minutes have passed. After 5 minutes, another counter at the 10 o'clock position advances by 1 to indicate that 5 minutes have passed, continuing up to 60 minutes. Once it hits 2 hours, the special timing feature will stop and reset back to its starting point. At 4 o’clock, a date window. Yellow-tipped baton hands filled with Super-LumiNova are complemented by a tapered yellow chronograph hand. At noon, we have the Tissot 1853 motif, and across the middle, PRS 516 completes this striking Retrograde chronograph. On the reverse, a solid case back engraved with the watch's details around its edge and a sporty steering wheel PRS 516 in the centre, inside a Quartz movement. The Swiss luxury watch company Tissot, based in Le Locle, Switzerland, was founded in 1853 by Charles Félicien Tissot and his son, Charles-Emile.
