The Watch
Here we have a 2008 Omega De Ville Prestige Automatic Co-Axial with a 39.5mm brushed and polished stainless steel case, thick tapered lugs have subtly curved ends with a lug-to-lug length of 44.5mm and a case thickness of 9.5mm ensuring a comfortable fit on your wrist. On the right side, we have a signed crown. The smooth polished bezel holds a domed sapphire crystal AR coated above a sunburst silver sector style dial, applied Roman numerals and applied baton indexes mark the hours for a stylish vintage aesthetic. At 3 o’clock a framed date window. At 6 o’clock a power reserve crescent and finally at 9 o’clock a continuous second register, elegant Dauphine hands complete this striking dress watch. At 12 o’clock we have an applied Omega motif with De Ville Co-Axial Chronometer printed underneath. On the reverse a polished case back with an Omega motif engraved into it, inside an Automatic Omega Co-Axial Cal. 2500, 27 jewels, 25,200 beats per hour, Chronometer Certified. The watch comes fitted on a quality Strap Tailor 20mm suede strap plus it comes with its original worn black leather Omega strap and Omega buckle and also comes with an Omega Service pouch.

There is no denying the value of this wonderful watch, if you are in the market for a daily watch that is a little dressier from a brand with true history and heritage, look no further, this ticks all the boxes! This would look great against a suit in the office or against a t-shirt and jeans on the weekend.
The Brand
Formerly known as the La Generale Watch Co. it was founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848. In 1903 they renamed the company Omega until 1982 when they officially changed their name to Omega SA, they are part of the Swiss Swatch Group. In 1967 Omega launched the De Ville as a stand-alone line, with a much more streamlined, varied and younger feel than the Seamaster, it soon became Omega’s best-selling collection.
