Its substantial cushion case wears surprisingly compactly thanks to its short 47mm lug-to-lug, framing the classic matte black “Sharkhunter” dial with signature orange accents and Doxa’s distinctive dual-scale dive bezel. Powered by the proven Swiss ETA 2893-2 automatic GMT movement and paired with the iconic Beads of Rice bracelet, this early limited edition is numbered #0260 of 1,000. Complete with its wonderfully quirky original scuba-tank presentation packaging and card, this is a rare and characterful Doxa from an increasingly collectable period of the brand’s modern history.

Description

Here we have a 2007 Doxa SUB 750T GMT Sharkhunter limited edition of just 1,000. This early and rare design draws inspiration from Doxa's rich diving heritage dating back to 1967, expanding on the iconic cushion-case design with an added dual-time complication built for global adventurers. The 45mm stainless steel case curves over your wrist with an authoritative presence, featuring the brand's unmistakable retro-futuristic geometry. A surprisingly compact lug-to-lug length of 47mm and a sleek case thickness of 13.5mm allow this oversized diver to sit remarkably flat and comfortably on the wrist. Brushed and polished surfaces transition with sharp, utilitarian lines. Down the right side, a substantial signed screw-down crown ensures a watertight seal. The characteristic patented unidirectional rotating bezel features a dual-scale outer depth ring in feet and an inner 60-minute dive timer ring, precisely executed alongside a separate inner 24-hour ring for tracking multiple time zones. The flat sapphire crystal is highly legible and is set above a matte black “Sharkhunter” dial that serves as a high-contrast canvas. An outer minute track is precisely marked, complemented by painted baton indexes in bright Super-LumiNova marking the hours. At 3 o’clock, a neat date window adds daily practicality. The central handset features Doxa’s signature oversized orange minute hand and a smaller hour hand, both infilled with Super-LumiNova and complemented by an orange skeletonised GMT pointer hand and a sweeping seconds hand. At noon, the historic Doxa motif sits proudly, while the "SUB 750T GMT" script anchors the asymmetric dial layout. On the reverse, a solid screw-down case back is deeply engraved with the iconic Doxa sailing ship logo, alongside its limited edition number marking it as number 0260 of only 1,000 pieces worldwide. Inside beats the Automatic ETA Cal. 2893-2, a premium, Swiss-made GMT workhorse movement housing 21 jewels, operating at 28,800 beats per hour, and offering a reliable 42-hour power reserve. The watch comes paired with Doxa's legendary 20mm stainless steel "Beads of Rice" bracelet, featuring a signed folding clasp with an integrated wetsuit extension. This watch comes complete with its original Doxa scuba-tank presentation packaging and card.

Points of Mention

This watch is sold with its original Doxa tube and Doxa card. The watch comes paired with Doxa's iconic 20mm stainless steel "Beads of Rice" bracelet, featuring a signed folding clasp, all links are included. The watch is from August 2007 and is sold in worn condition, but overall in very fair condition, as you can see. The watch comes with our 12-Months Warranty.

Personal Note

There’s no getting around the fact that this is a big, unapologetic dive watch, but it wears surprisingly well. That incredibly short 47mm lug-to-lug makes a huge difference, allowing the 45mm cushion case to sit far more comfortably on the wrist than the dimensions might suggest. The design is fantastic too, pure Doxa, with the Sharkhunter dial, flashes of orange, chunky bezel and Beads of Rice bracelet giving it loads of character. Add in the GMT complication and proven ETA movement, and there’s a lot of watch here. For the money, I think these represent fantastic value, especially for such a distinctive and relatively rare limited-edition Doxa. I would not hesitate to add this gem to your collection today!
