What a lovely watch for the money, especially when you consider how much gold is actually in this watch! Don't be fooled by the name "Junior" and 34mm, this watch wears perfectly well on the wrist thanks to Ebel's amazing case design and beautifully incorporated bracelet that hugs the wrist effortlessly. The Brand
Eugene Blum and Alice Levy, husband and wife, joined their initials together (Eugène Blum Et Lévy) to form the brand name Ebel in 1911. Based in La Chaux de Fonds the company was taken over by their son, Charles in 1932, where he began to concentrate the business branching out overseas before Blum’s grandson Pierre Alain took over. It was at this point, in 1932 that Ebel began creating wristwatches for Cartier. Later Ebel became part of the LVMH Group and then Movado Group by the end of 2003.
