1990s TAG Heuer Professional Formula 1 White/Blue 35mm WA1219

Here we have a classic 1990s TAG Heuer Professional Formula 1 White/Blue WA1219. Featuring a curvaceous brushed 35mm stainless steel muscular-shaped case with hooded lugs that curve over your wrist for a comfortable fit. The watch's lug-to-lug length of 39mm and case thickness of just 8.5mm give it an impressive wrist presence. Down the right side, a signed crown is protected by crown guards. A broad blue resin unidirectional bezel features deep knurling and large white-painted 60-minute numerals with the first 15 minutes in vibrant red, holding a flat crystal above a crisp white dial. A black outer minute track surrounds indexes coated in Tritium, marking the hours. At 3 o’clock, a colour-matched framed date window.  Elegant black outlined Cathedral hands filled with Tritium are complemented by a black lollipop second hand. At noon, we have the TAG Heuer motif, with the printed “Professional 200m Quartz” in black, which completes this sports watch. On the reverse is a screw-down solid case back with the TAG Heuer motif in the centre and details of the watch engraved around its edge,  inside a Quartz ETA 955.412 movement. It comes paired with its brushed 20mm TAG Heuer 5-link chunky stainless steel bracelet and a signed flip-lock folding clasp; it will fit up to a 7.1-inch wrist, plus a TAG Heuer blue rubber strap in the box. The watch comes with its TAG Heuer presentation box and booklet.

They were the sponsor of the 1985 Marlboro McLaren Formula 1 racing team; then, after 30 years, in 2015, they proudly sponsored RED Bull Racing. LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton S.A. offered a bid in 1999 that was accepted by TAG Heuer. From 2025, they will return to be the official timekeepers for F1, with LVMH signing a 10-year contract.
