Designed by Eddie Schopfer, the 2000 series helped define TAG Heuer’s identity during the late quartz era, combining robust dive-watch credentials with practical chronograph functionality. This example pairs its versatile 38mm case with a crisp black dial, tachymeter scale, and distinctive Mercedes-style handset, creating a purposeful yet timeless aesthetic. Complete with its original bracelet, TAG Heuer service pouch, and 2022 service paperwork, it is a superb example of a model that continues to offer outstanding everyday wearability and vintage TAG Heuer charm.

More Information

Description

Here we have a 1990s TAG Heuer 2000 Chronograph CK1110 with a 38mm satin brushed stainless steel case; the 2000 series was designed by Eddie Schopfer. The case's curve leads to a lug-to-lug length of 44mm and a case thickness of 11.5mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence; on the right side, we have the chronograph pushers and a signed screw-down crown in the centre. A satin-brushed bezel has raised polished blocks and a 60-minute scale with black-painted numerals; a flat sapphire crystal sits above a black dial with an outer Tachymetre chapter ring. Applied 12 followed by applied rounded baton indexes are infilled with luminance, marking the hours, at 4 o’clock, a date window. The chronograph consists of three registers: a 1/10-second register, a 60-second continuous register, and finally a 12-hour register, each slightly recessed on the dial. Elegant Mercedes hands filled with luminance and a red chronograph minute hand plus a white chronograph second hand, at 12 o’clock, an applied TAG Heuer motif at 3 o’clock “200 meters” and at 9 o’clock “, Professional”, complete this sports chronograph. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with an engraved TAG Heuer shield in the centre, inside a Quartz movement. The watch comes fitted on its 20mm TAG Heuer stainless steel bracelet with a signed folding clasp and flip lock. It also comes with its TAG Heuer service pouch and 2022 TAG Heuer service paperwork.

Points of Mention

This watch is sold ‘Watch Only’ but comes with its TAG Heuer service pouch and 2022 TAG Heuer Service paperwork. It is also paired with its original full-length 20mm TAG Heuer-signed bracelet with a folding clasp and flip lock. The watch is from Circa late 1990s, sold in worn condition, but overall, it is in very fair condition, as you can see. It comes with our 12-Month NON-Waterproof Warranty and benefits from a fresh battery prior to listing.

Personal Note

What really stands out here is just how good an example this is. The inclusion of a 2022 TAG Heuer service is a huge bonus, and this benefits from a fresh battery prior to listing. When you combine that with the quality of the watch itself, the versatile size, and the fact that it comes from one of TAG Heuer's most iconic collections, the value proposition here is incredibly strong. It's a lot of watch for the money and a reminder of just how good these 2000 Series models really were. Snap it up and add it to your collection today!
