The Watch

Here we have a 1990s Dunhill 166 11073 Sports Watch with a curvaceous 37mm stainless steel case, a subtle curve towards the screwed-in lugs sits comfortably on the wrist and a lug-to-lug length of 45.5mm and a case thickness of just 9.5mm provides a slim profile. On the right side is a deeply knurled screw-down crown protected by crown guards, a unidirectional dive bezel has raised numerals and markers. The black textured dial has an outer minute track and attractive Roman numeral indices coated in luminance marking the hours, at 6 o’clock a framed date window. Elegant sword hands complemented by a lollipop sweeping second hand each infilled with luminance and at 12 o’clock we have the Dunhill motif. On the reverse a screw-down case back with deep engraving around its edge, inside an automatic ETA 2824-2, 25 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour, the movement is both hand-winding and hackable. The watch comes fitted on a black leather integrated strap with its original deployment clasp and comes with its box and booklet.

Personal Note

Here at KibbleWatches we are all about finding the watches that stand out in the crowd, we want you to scroll through our website and find refreshing offerings and things you don't see every day. Watches like this Dunhill are exactly the kind of offers we look for, something that's incredibly well built from a brand with real history and heritage but seriously overlooked in the world of watches and therefore is priced insanely well! I'd highly recommend this if you are after something different, fun but also a serious watch.
