The Watch
Here we have a classic 1990s Bueche Girod .925 Sterling Silver "TV Case" Quartz with a symmetrical brushed and polished 28mm 0.925 Silver square TV-shaped case with ribbed lug shoulders, and a lug-to-lug length of 28.75mm and a case thickness of just 5.25mm ensure a comfortable cushion fit. A coin-edged crown with an attractive black cabochon dome is on display on the right side. The top of the case has interesting ribbing and is polished. It holds a square crystal above a crisp white dial. Exploding Roman numerals surround the black-painted thin sword hands in the centre. At 12 o’clock, the Bueche Girod motif completes this sophisticated minimalist dress watch. On the reverse, a 0.925 Silver vertically brushed snap-off case back engraved with the watch's details and hallmarks, inside is a quality ETA calibre 976.001, 6 jewel Quartz movement. It comes paired with a well-suited 20mm leather strap with a pin buckle.
Personal Note
I am a sucker for a great Bueche Girod and this stunning .925 Sterling Silver "TV Case" model is no exception. Featuring a crisp white dial and contrasting exploding Roman numerals, the design is simple and elegant, especially against the funky sterling silver case which sits on the wrist effortlessly. I would not hesitate to add this watch to your collection today if you are after something a little different and unique but something that also won't break the bank!
