Here we have a rarely seen 1980s Seiko Wrist Terminal RC-1000 S501-4000, it was Seiko's first computer-connected watch. This watch is compatible with a variety of older computers, requiring an RS-232C interface cable and software, including the Apple II series, Commodore 64, and IBM PCs, as well as some compatible models. It also supports the Tandy Colour Computer and several versions of the TRS-80. Its 36mm rectangular black plastic case sits comfortably on your wrist thanks to the tapered 20mm adjustable bracelet. On the left side, an enclosed button for changing the various functions. The RC-1000 watch has six buttons and offers various functions, including displaying the day, date, alarm, and time. It also features a memo function, a schedule alarm, a weekly alarm, and a world time option. (which requires special software for some of these features). A light is activated by pressing and holding the SET button to brighten up the two-line DOT-Matrix display. On the reverse, a screwed-down case back engraved with the details of the watch, inside a Quartz Seiko Cal. S501 movement. It comes paired with its original tapered 20mm black adjustable bracelet.
