Personal Note

There is no denying that 1970s Piaget has been on a hype and rightfully so, but models like this one remain relatively untapped and still offer incredible value for money for those of us who enjoy this unapologetic 1970s design. This is a fantastic Piaget Black Tie Emperador TV in 18ct White Gold, reference 9434, with the most incredible bark-like finish throughout the case and dial, mesmerising in person and on the wrist. Powered by the renowned 9P calibre, it is a work of art on the wrist. I would not hesitate to add this gem to your collection today!

About Piaget

Piaget was founded in 1874 in the small Swiss village of La Côte-aux-Fées. Georges-Édouard Piaget had a passion for watches from a young age. He created movements from his workshop. It wasn’t until his son Timothée Piaget took over that the business saw a huge expansion, building a new manufacturing facility. In 1943, Piaget became a registered trademark. Creating ultra-thin watches with their 9P Calibre, which was an incredible 2mm thick, a world record that they still hold. Today Piaget is a subsidiary of the Swiss Richemont group. This group includes Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, IWC Schaffhausen, Panerai, Vacheron Constantin, Montblanc, Dunhill, and Chloé.
