This watch is sold as "Watch Only" and therefore comes with no original Zenith box or Zenith paperwork. The watch comes paired on its original Zenith signed bracelet, plus swing tag as photographed. The watch is from Circa. 1970s and is in "New Old Stock" condition, this is as close to brand new as you can get, but please do remember this watch is around 50 years old and therefore may have signs of hairline storage marks. The Watch

Zenith was founded in 1865 by 22-year-old watchmaker Georges Favre-Jacot. Their manufacturing was based in Le Locle Switzerland. Famously Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen, who was the first person to reach the South Pole in 1911 and the North Pole in 1926, wore Zenith watches on his expeditions. In 1999 Zenith was purchased by LVMH  (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) joining brands like TAG and Hublot. Zenith is one of the only Swiss manufacturers to still produce their in-house movements. Their most recognised movement is the El Primero it was released in 1969, went into production in 1975, and was re-issued in 1986. 

We have here a NOS Zenith Automatic Pilot. Its 35mm square case has brushed and polished surfaces that transition perfectly to the curved integrated lugs. Its 40mm lug to lug length ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist. The sides of the case are polished with beveled edges. A flat oval crystal protects the silver dial with a vertical line surface. Applied baton indexes mark the hours. Between the 4 and 5 positions, we have a date window. Slim baton hands have lume infill. On the reverse, we have a screw-down case back. Inside an Automatic Zenith Cal. 2572PC with sweeping seconds and quick set date. Fitted on its original full size integrated Zenith bracelet with signed folding clasp.
