Points of Mention

This watch is sold as "Watch Only" and therefore comes with no Omega box or Omega paperwork. The watch comes paired on a black lizard grain leather strap. The watch is from 1969 and is in worn condition, but overall very good as you can see from the photos. The watch has been serviced and comes with KibbleWatches 12-Months NON-Waterproof Warranty.

The Watch

In 1967 Omega launched the De Ville as a stand-alone line. Much more streamlined, variety and younger feel than the SeaMaster, it soon became Omega’s best selling collection. This 1969 Omega De Ville embodies those points perfectly. Its gold plated “Tank” shape has curves in all the right places with a 39mm lug to lug length makes for an elegant fit. The domed crystal covers a white linen dial, broad indexes for the hours and fine pencil hands. The text is simple with Omega at 12 o’clock and De Ville above the 6 o’clock position. On the back a stainless steel case back. Inside a Manually Wound Omega Cal. 620 17 Jewels 19800 Beats per hour. Fitted on a quality black leather 17mm strap with a Omega Buckle.

Personal Note

When this watch came across my desk it needed some work, but I can say I didn't expect it to come out this well, it looks incredible! Size-wise it is fantastic too, it wears longer than my Tank Solo Mid-Size. The dial has a subtle linen effect with double faceted black indices, truly a unique and great looking dial.
