This watch is sold as "Watch Only" and therefore comes with no original box or paperwork. The watch comes paired with a nicely fitted brown leather strap. The watch is from the Circa. 1969 and is sold in worn, vintage condition, but overall fair condition as you can see. The Watch

Fritz Schluep in 1919 founded Titoni Ltd in the Jura Mountains of Switzerland. Establishing initially Felco later as Felca brand names, he expanded into America, Germany, and Japan. But it wasn’t until 1952 that he started to use the name Titoni on his watches. The logo is the meihua, the plum blossom. His business continued to expand into China and India. In 2019 they celebrated their 100 years anniversary. Titoni is still a family-owned independent with third-generation Daniel Schluep at the helm. 

Our Titoni Airmaster first introduced in 1969, coinciding with the Moon landing. It has a 34.5mm polished round stainless steel case. Attractive twisted tapered lugs with a lug to lug length of 42mm and a thickness of 10.5mm ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist. At a glance, you could mistake this for an Omega of that time. Its quality of build and execution is a testament to the Schluep family and their level of production. The slim bezel holds a domed crystal. The silver dial is convex with the applied steel indexes marking the hours. As you rotate your wrist the light catches the dial and indexes perfectly. At 3 o’clock a date window with a cyclops magnification. Elegant steel Dauphine's hands with a sweeping center seconds hand perfectly balance the dial. An applied meihua logo at 12 o’clock and Titoni. The text printed in black fonts. On the reverse, a screw-down case with Titoni and Airmaster embossed on it. In the center the embossed meihua logo. Inside an automatic ETA Cal. 2462, 25 jewels, 18,000 beats per hour. A quality movement used by many brands including Rolex and Tudor. The watch comes fitted on an 18mm leather strap.

Personal Note

The lugs remind me of a Universal Geneve Polerouter, the overall design of the dial reminds me of an Omega Seamaster and I've got to be honest... Those two watches are easily two of my favourite vintage watches, so combine the two and we have this Titoni, of course, I was going to purchase it! It is such a stunning watch and for such a fair price, we love deals like this!
