Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no original box or original paperwork. The watch is sold on a Desert Sand NATO Strap. The watch features its original dial and hands, there is a bit of print missing from the sub-seconds which is quite common due to the production speed of these watches. The case is worn as photographed but adds character. There is no service history but the watch is running very well.

The Watch

The W.W.W. range of Military Watches was the first to be designed and made specifically for the British Army, this has made them incredibly collectable. There were approximately 145,000 watches made in total by the 12 brands (Dirty Dozen) with only 11,000 of those being Buren, also they have Chrome cases meaning the amount left in good condition is rare. This one has some character and wear to the case, but is overall in great condition and all original which is the important part.

Personal Note

I have wanted to own and sell a Dirty Dozen for a long time, I think they are brilliant and their connection to the British Army is fascinating. They look incredible on the wrist and go with anything, whilst being 36mm it wears so much larger!
