Vario is a microbrand based in Singapore that was founded by Ivan Chua in 2016. Initially, Chua started as a strap designer with the goal of introducing entertaining and distinctive patterns to the market. Through crowdfunding, he has launched several successful Kickstarter campaigns, including his own watch designs. These affordable timepieces pay homage to classic period-themed designs, inspired by the 1920s Art Deco period, Tuxedo sector dials and the clean distinctive lines of the Empire State Building.
