Serica has been set up by four friends, including Matt Hranek, author of A Man & His Watch, and founder of the WM Brown Project blog. Created in the latter part of 2019. The four decided to produce a modern watch designed and inspired by the famed Dirty Dozen “W.W.W.” "Wrist Watch Waterproof "design that fulfils a need in the the market for “a modern, affordable, and resistant watch that possesses genuine elegance.”
