Brand Directory: Precista

Precista was an unregistered brand name used by the Southern Watch & Clock Supplies Ltd based in Kent England in the 1950s. Producing clocks and chronograph/timekeeper wristwatches and sold wholesale. They were a supplier to the British military with the G10 and W10 specifications between 1982-1984. In the late 80s early 90s they were contracted to produce a 300mm dive watch these were never given a model name so are recognized by their reference beginning “6645-99.” Southern sold the company to Apollo straps in 1997. Eddie Platts owner of Timefactors in 2003 registered the brand name Precista. A number of homage military watches are being produced and retailed by his company, Timefactors.
