Orient has been a Japanese watch manufacturer since 1951, when it was reborn by   Tama Keiki Company in 1950, who then changed their name to Orient Watch Company Limited in 1951,  becoming fully integrated into Seiko in 2017. Its long heritage of in house movements sits perfectly within the Seiko family. The 3 Star or Tristar stands for Quality, Design, and Price.
