Brand Directory: Hemel

Hemel was founded by Marvin Menke a specialist in product branding, photography and packaging. Based in New York City the brand saw its launch in 2012.

He spent a short time working at Swatch while studying at F.I.T. Hemel was originally meant as a gift to his clients but he was persuaded by his colleagues after showing them his concept to bring it to market. Using the internet to reach the maximum amount of eyes on his idea the Hemel brand was born. Hemel is the Dutch word for Sky which is his constant inspiration when designing. Today they have a strong partnership and licensing agreement with the United States Air Force.
