Gérald Genta is an imaginative watchmaker and creative designer, with many innovative designs to his name. Such icons as the 1954 Universal Polerouter Omega 1959 Constellation, 1972 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and in 1976 Phillippe Patek Nautilus. 

In 1982 Gérald Genta founded his own watch brand where he envisioned his take on the Grand Complication and introduced an innovative way of reading time with his retrograde and bi-retrograde movements. In 2000 the brand was bought by Bvlgari.
