Brand Directory: Credor
Seiko with the success of the Grand Seiko quartz line in 1974 decided to create another luxury line called “Crêt D’or.” The term in English translates to Gold Crest, which was used to describe the top of the mountain. Later they renamed it to Credor. In 1980 they produced the world's thinnest movement at that time at just under 1mm thick. Since then Credor has been free to pursue exotic watchmaking, the like of which we associate companies like Vacheron Constantin to A. Lange & Sohne.
