The Watch

Formerly known as the La Generale Watch Co. it was founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848. In 1903 they renamed the company Omega until 1982 when they officially changed their name to Omega SA. They are part of the Swiss Swatch Group.

Our Omega Seamaster America's Cup 300M Limited Edition was created after Omega became the Official Timekeeper of America’s Cup. This was limited to 9999 pieces worldwide. The 41mm stainless steel case has polished and brushed surfaces that transition effortlessly with crisp edges. A lug to lug length of 47.5mm and a thickness of 12mm gives the watch an excellent wrist presence. The lugs curve downwards for a comfortable fit. On the right side, a screw-down signed crown and Limited Edition engraved into the case side. On the left, a Helium escape valve. The unidirectional 18ct white gold bezel insert has deep knurling and the sixty-minute scale embossed on it. A domed sapphire crystal sits above a matte black dial with a wavy texture. The applied trapezoid indexes are coated in Super LumiNova. At 3 o’clock a small date window. Broad sword hands and a lollipop sweeping seconds hand with a red tip coated in the same luminescence. Text is precisely printed with America’s cup at 6 o’clock. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with deep wavy engraving. Inside an Automatic Omega Cal. 1120, 23 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. The movement's base is the ETA 2892-A2. The watch comes fitted on its polished and brushed stainless steel bracelet with a signed push-button released folding clasp, also the watch comes with its Omega presentation box but no papers.
