Here we have a 2020 Kurono Tokyo Green Mori, which was created to celebrate its first anniversary on the 1st of June 2020. Limited to 288 pieces, the 37mm high polished stainless steel case is gently tapered towards the lugs with a case thickness of 11mm and lug-to-lug length of 43.5mm, ensuring a comfortable fit on your wrist. The watch takes its design cues from the Art Deco timepieces of the past. On the right side is a domed crown, and a smooth polished bezel holds a domed sapphire crystal above the stunning forest green dial. Under different lighting conditions, the dial shimmers in the light as you rotate your wrist. An outer minute track is precisely printed with three engraved concentric steel rings with four applied baton indexes to catch the light in a mesmerising way. Sculpted brushed hands complemented by a tapered teardrop balanced sweeping second-hand finishing this elegantly understated vision of Japanese creativity and sensibility. The brand motif is found at 12 o’clock with Automatic at 6 o’clock. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with the brand motif and inside an automatic Miyota 90S5, 24 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. This movement is part of the high-grade Miyota family with hand winding and hacking for your convenience. The watch comes fitted on a 20mm leather strap with a buckle and also comes with its Kurono Tokyo presentation box.
