This watch is sold with its original DOXA Box & Paperwork. The watch comes paired on its original 19mm Stainless steel bracelet with its DOXA signed Folding clasp and a blue DOXA fitted 19mm rubber strap with a signed buckle. The watch is from February 2020 and is sold in worn condition, but overall very good and hardly worn as you can see. The watch comes with our 12-month warranty.
The Watch
Doxa was established in 1889 in Le Locle Switzerland by Georges Ducommun. In 1921 Doxa became the supplier of dash clocks to Bugatti. In 1925 Georges became the vice president of the Swiss Horology Society. 1936 saw Georges' passing and the company was now in the hands of son-in-law Jaques Nardin the grandson of Ulysse Nardin. In 1944 the company was renamed “Manufacture des Montre DOXA”. The company was finally sold in 1997 to the Jenny family, transferring their headquarters to Bienne Switzerland.
Unveiled at Baselworld 2019, this 2020 Doxa Sub 200 Caribbean has a 42mm 316L stainless steel tonneau case. The polished and brushed surfaces transition with bevel edges. A lug to lug length of 46mm and a case thickness of 14mm give the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side is a signed screw-down crown. The unidirectional dive bezel holds a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating and a distinctive curvature of the dome that reminds us of plexiglass crystals used in the 1960s. The navy dial has an outer minute track with applied baton indexes coated in aged Super‑LumiNova marking the hours. At 3 o’clock a framed date window. Sword hands complemented by a tapered second hand all coated in the same aged Super‑LumiNova. On the reverse a screw-down case back. Inside an Automatic ETA 2824-2, 25 jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. The watch comes fitted on its DOXA 19mm 316L stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp with the DOXA fish symbol. Also in the box is a blue DOXA fitted 19mm rubber strap with a signed buckle. The watch comes with its DOXA presentation box and papers.

The value of this watch brand new from retail is insane, so pre-owned with the addition of the £120 Rubber Strap this is an unmissable deal in my opinion! A fantastic looking watch from a brand with real history and pedigree, built like a tank and ticks so many boxes!
