Here we have a 2016 Damasko DA45 Full Lume Dial Automatic with a 40mm ice-hardened bead-blasted nickel-free stainless steel case that curves over your wrist with tapered lugs, the DAMEST® hardened surface makes the watch case more resistant to scratches, and a lug-to-lug length of 47.5mm and a case thickness of 12mm give the watch an impressive wrist presence. Small crown guards protect a hardened, signed screw-down crown with triple gaskets for improved water resistance and deep knurling for extra grip on the right side. A bidirectional ice-hardened bezel has deep knurling and a black 12-hour insert with a red pip triangle at 12 o’clock coated in a proprietary DAMEST® hardener, making it more resistant to scratches and abrasions, holding a flat sapphire crystal AR coated on both sides for excellent viewing. The white, cross-hair fully luminous dial, coated in CL1 SuperLuminova, features an outer minute track precisely executed. Large black Arabic numerals mark the hours, and at 3 o’clock, a colour-matched day/date window is present. Striking matte black sword hands are complemented by a red-painted sweeping second hand. Above the date, we have the Damasko motif. On the reverse, a screw-down sapphire exhibition case back houses an automatic ETA Cal. 2836-2, featuring 25 jewels and beating at 28,800 beats per hour. This workhorse movement offers hand-winding and hack seconds for your convenience. It comes with a Damasko leather strap and a pin buckle, and the watch is accompanied by its Damasko presentation box.
