1960s Marc Nicolet Skin Diver Date Automatic ETA 2472 36mm

Another incredible example of a watch that isn't all too expensive but feels and looks like it should demand far more than it does. You are probably noticing a bit of a theme here with my own watches, ridiculous value at many price points. Keep your eyes out for great vintage skin divers, they are without doubt some of the most undervalued and easy to wear vintage watches on the market today!

Description

This watch was offered to me by another regular customer and now good friend who has been collecting for a very long time and has owned a lot of incredible watches, but for whatever reason, he couldn't get on with this one and sold it to me. As soon as I got it out of the package, I was enamored and have struggled to take it off my wrist to give other watches a chance. I think he missed something with this one, but I am not complaining, sorry Mr H!

This example has the most perfect gloss black dial and lume that has aged to perfection on the dial and the hands, something we rarely see. Then we move the case, unpolished and sharp as the day it was made, and still featuring its original bezel and signed crown. All of this comes in at a 36mm case, which packs way more of a punch on the wrist than you would think. This is another watch that just elevates to another level when paired with the right strap, like this two-stitch here, which complements the watch effortlessly.
