1950s Wittnauer 6002/5 Chronograph Valjoux 72

Powered by the impressive manually wound Valjoux 72, this Wittnauer Chronograph, reference 6002/5, is an absolute dream on and off the wrist. The best part is that it is fully signed from dial, to crown, to case back and to the movement, rarely seen. The Valjoux 72 is a legendary movement used by many brands, including Heuer, Enicar and most famously, Rolex with their pre-Daytona and some Daytona models. This example is nice and sharp; the dial and hands are original and untouched, showing some patina here and there, which only adds to its charm. If you can find a nice example of one of these under £3,000 today, it is worth snapping up as I can only see these continuing in one direction and we have no intentions of letting this one go anytime soon!
