1950s Movado Gentleman Bumper Automatic 18ct Pink Gold

18ct pink gold, 'Clous de Paris' Gold dial, bumper automatic, insanely sharp and original, and it's a Movado. I was sold immediately, and if you find one of these at a fair price, do yourself a favour and add it to your collection. If this watch had Patek or Vacheron on the dial, I cannot begin to imagine how much this would cost, yet it is equally as good on the wrist, yes, I said it!

Great vintage Movados are certainly garnering far more attention today than they did just a few years ago, and this is deserved. I still think they are grossly underrated when compared to the overall market today. The fact that these can be picked up cheaper than almost all Rolex Datejusts is just insane to me. Granted, they fit different purposes and often appeal to different collectors, but how on earth can an 18ct pink gold in this condition and this good be this 'cheap'?
