Points of Mention
This watch is sold with its original Concord box but no Concord paperwork. The watch comes paired on its original Stainless Steel integrated bracelet with spare links, the folding clasp is missing the C that is recessed with the clasp. The watch is from Circa. 2010s and is in worn condition, but overall very well kept. The watch has an Unknown Service History but is giving a great reading on the timegrapher and will come with KibbleWatches 6-Months NON-Waterproof Warranty.
The Watch
Founded in 1908 in Biel Switzerland, the brand was created with the American market in mind. Working with the likes of Tiffany & Co & Cartier. In 1942 President Truman gifted Concord watches to Stalin and Churchill during the world war 2 peace talks. This Concord Mariner has a 41mm stainless steel case with polished sides and lug tops satin-brushed finished. The bezel has dive markings and numerals deeply etched into it. Sapphire crystal sits flat above a silver dial. Applied batons with silver edging mark the hours and are coated in Superluminova. At 3 o’clock a date window, the sword hands are coated in Superluminova with the center seconds hand having a lume hexagon near its tip. On the reverse a screw-down case back with screws. Inside Automatic ETA 2892-2 which features 21 jewels and beats at 28,800 beats per hour. Fitted on its original integrated bracelet with brushed center and polished edges on the links along with a signed clasp with micro-adjustments.
Personal Note
Another one gone before getting a chance to reach the website, this is why I stress the importance of following KibbleWatches on Instagram, we show things there far in advance sometimes and a fair few watches never even reach the website! This was a great looking watch and I really enjoyed owning it myself for a short period of time I did.
