The Watch
Here we have a 2023 Radcliffe Le Dome Blue Guilloche Dial Automatic Limited 0091/1000 pieces, inspired by the Legacy Machine 101 by MB&F, released in 2014. Its 40mm brushed and polished 316L stainless steel round case curves over your wrist with tapered lugs. The curved engraved detailing along the polished flanks leads the eye towards the lug-to-lug length of 48mm and a case thickness of 16mm, giving the watch a striking profile. On the right side, there is a coin-edged crown. The double-domed sapphire crystal, AR-coated, showcases the stunning blue guilloché dial. Three domed CNC machined 3D sub-dials represent the hours, minutes, and open balance wheel; each dome has BGW9 SuperLumiNova coated numerals. A raised “H” and “M” indicator is coated in C3 SuperLumiNova for that perfect night glow. On the reverse a polished screw-down exhibition case back with the details of the watch around its edge. Inside an automatic Modified Seiko Cal. NH38 with a signed Guilloché patterned rotor. It comes paired with two 22mm leather straps and pin buckles. Personal Note
This Radcliffe Le Dome has to have one of the most heavily domed crystals I have yet seen on a watch, making it nearly impossible to capture but a marvel to look at in the metal. This is only emphasised with that wonderful blue Guilloche dial and the 3-dimensional rotating discs for the hours and minutes, plus the case over the balance to the right of those discs. Looking from the side, it is like peering into a snowglobe, truly incredible. I would not hesitate to add this watch to your collection today!
