Tudor Black Bay Dark
I love the Tudor Black Bay range, as all of you who have followed me for anytime would know, but I always felt it was 1mm or 2mm too large for me... Though in all black it really creates the illusion of wearing ever so slightly smaller, I can say with confidence I would happily wear this! I love that they took something so iconic and utilitarian and make it all black and stealth! I wore this watch with a full black suit and wow, if James bond was to wear a Tudor I think this would be the one! Pair it with a t-shirt and jeans and you have some serious style...
I would highly recommend this to the person wanting a Black Bay but wanting a slight difference to it, or for the collector who maybe already has one and wants to branch out with the feel of the watch! Eitherway you cannot go wrong with this perfect dive watch that has a difference!

I am happy to present one of the most incredible dials on a Datejust I have ever seen! This beautiful Datejust Ref. 16233 dating to 1991 features a ivory white textured, pyramid like, dial which contrasts perfectly against the steel & rose gold case and jubilee bracelet! The watch still has it's original green sticker on the caseback and is in overall great condition considering the age, also the Jubilee bracelet has minimal stretch, it is currently fitting a 6 1/4 - 6 1/2 inch wrist but more links can be added on request.
The reference 16610 debuted in 1988 to replace the Submariner 1680. The changes included a Glossy Black dial as opposed to the flat black of the 1680. It was upgraded to white gold markers around Superluminova. One of the biggest changes was the sapphire crystal, a big change to the acrylic.
This reference 16610 is from 2000 and is a P serial, this means you get all the above mentioned upgrades but you also get solid end links. This makes a world of a difference when on wrist, you get a more comfortable experience. It is also in amazing condition. Coming with it's box and papers, outer box, all booklets and hand tags, the only thing missing is the Steel Anchor.
Points of Mention
The watch would have been serviced in 2014 when the previous owner of this watch purchased it from another UK based watch dealer, it is running very well still and is in great cosmetic condition. The bracelet is experiencing some stretch which is normal for a watch of this age. All spare links are provided with the watch. The watch was originally purchased on the 30/10/2000 in Pittsburg US.
This is one of the best condition 16610 I have seen. The Submariner is a watch I always felt both love and hate for, I felt like I saw them a lot and wouldn't enjoy wearing one for that reason. When this came in for sale I wore it for a day and I can safely say my mind has been changed forever! If I was to go for a Pre-Ceramic Submariner (Which would be my choice over the new Ceramic Submariner) I would go with this reference as it's easily a modern watch with near vintage appeal!
Recently I've been getting a fair few of these unknown and obscure brands, I think they're super awesome and offer a great value proposition! Let's take a look at this "MAVIP"... And yes, I have no clue what the brand is or anything about it lol! That's part of the fun of these ;)
This watch has a lovely case shape which wears so well on the wrist and gives a far larger wrist presence than it's numbers suggest, being quite thin too it's lovely! The dial is a glossy metallic colour that has aged and gone a VERY slight pinkish hue in certain lights, it's super faint but wow! Large and bold indices filled with black contrast nicely against the long hands that are filled with white, all complimented with a sub seconds at 6o'clock! I think if you're a watch guy and want something that stands out and gets questions, then get this!
Whilst certainly a watch that won't be to everyone's taste the Luminox brand has a very dedicated and serious following amount the watch community. As stated on their website "Luminox has been the watch of choice for the professionals like Navy SEALs, expert counter-terrorism operatives Scott Cassel, the US Coast Guard, Law enforcement divers and many more for the past 25 years".
This model features Tritium tubes which allows for better and longer legibility when diving, it also doesn't require a charge of light, a very fun feature and when in the dark it increases in glow.
Points of Mention
The watch will be fitted with a fresh battery before being shipped. The watch comes with it's original box, papers, guarantee card and even it's original rubber strap and hand tag. The all black coated case is in good condition with very signs of wear.
Whilst this is a design of watch I would never personally own I did find it was the easiest watch to photograph as did Harry when he was doing the professional store shots. I could imagine using this watch as a runaround watch or a gym watch.
Everyone loves a Seiko 5! They are often most people's first ever automatic watch and continue to be a watch owned or purchased multiple times in various colours and styles over the years, myself included! This lovely reference 7S26-0480 features the very well executed honeycomb dial in white, match that with the great proportions of 37mm on the wrist, you have something that is a delight to wear and easily wearable for either men or women!
Whether you are a seasoned veteran in the watch community or a newbie, treat yourself to one of these incredible watches and experience a Seiko 5 at least once. It's a must-do if you are a true collector!
Points of Mention
This watch comes with no box or paperwork. It was partial serviced this year and is running nicely. The dial is clean and free of marks, the watch has been worn and therefore does have signs of wear to the bracelet and case. Overall a very fair example for an even fairer price!
My second ever automatic watch was a Seiko 5! I have had a love for them since and that will never go away, whenever the chance comes up to purchase one at a fair price I usually jump at it, this was no exception!
I still cannot get over the price I am able to offer this watch at! You are truly getting so much watch for the money, incredible design, clean gold plating, beautiful white glossy dial, amazing blue hands and numerals... What is not too like? Also it comes with the original leather strap and buckle which looks like it has had barely any wear over the years! At retail you probably would have paid more than the price I am offering it at...
If you are looking for a great dressy watch for an affordable price then look no further, this ticks all the boxes and still has a great brand name on the dial! Treat your wrist to a dressy piece! Oh and being 34mm it's the perfect size for a dress watch with this design and case colour!
There is something special about a 34mm oyster case on wrist, especially on a bracelet, it has the wrist presence of a larger watch but yet wears incredibly on the smaller wristed without looking silly on the larger wrists. This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date features a beautiful champagne dial with gold hands and indices, intact lume plots around the outer edge of the dial on the minute track. A very well kept engine-turned bezel on an, also very well maintained, 34mm oyster case. The watch also comes paired on it's original Rolex oyster bracelet and clasp.
This reference offers the Rolex Cal. 3135 which allows for easy quick-set date, making it a very attractive option for the person with a collection that they rotate often, pick it up, change the date and off you go.
Points of Mention
The watch is in great overall condition for age. We have no service history for the watch but all functions work smoothly, winding is smooth and date change is sharp, the watch is also running well. The watch comes with enough links to fit a 7inch wrist on full length of clasp.
It is no secret that I love smaller watches, having a smaller wrist it was just a given. This reference provides the small size on wrist but larger wrist presence with the oyster case, it's perfect. Plus coming on it's bracelet with a clean champagne dial too, modern quick set movement, it really is a great Rolex option for the person either looking for their first Rolex or a collector looking for a fun reference to add.
If you're name is Douglas I have found the perfect watch for you! Another unknown brand with a unique design, what is not to like? This case shape hugs the wrist and sits so well and it wears larger than the numbers might suggest. A beautiful blue dial which has an almost fume effect which has potentially developed over time, large and bold indices with straight and thick hands, all complimented with a useful date complication located at 3 which is working perfectly!
Another desirable vintage Seiko for the site! This time it is the Lord Matic with the blacked numerals, a serious beauty! It is seen that the Lord Matic was within the top trio at Seiko alongside the GS (Grand Seiko), KS (King Seiko) and finally the LM (Lord Matic) that we have here! When taking a closer look at the detailing and incredible design you can see why!
One iconic feature of the Lord Marvel is the "Open Thru Glass" cases where you have to go from top down to reach the movement, which means you have a seemingless design from the caseback upwards! It's quite amazing to look at and see with a watch of this age. This one does have signs of wear on the case, crystal and some specs on the dial as photographed! But it is a very honest piece and still looks great.
