Finally a Seiko Monster on the store! At it's not just any Monster, it is one that I would easily consider the best looking Monster, but also it is one that is becoming increasingly rare and very hard to get! There are only a few stores that sell them but they are all overseas and subject to import fees and VAT, that always adds a very large chunk on top of the price you pay. There are a few on eBay that can be had within the EU but all are priced crazy high! I've priced this one to be as competitive as possible, but also keeping in mind this is a full set in perfect condition! Sure it has been worn but there are no real signs of wear on it at all, not even hairline scratches on the clasp. Incredible!

For the longest time I have wanted to get one of these references in the store and I managed to go one better and get a complete set with original purchase receipt and original bracelet with all the links! This gem was purchased in January 1999, looks just as great on the wrist today as it did then. Plus with the pointer date feature the watch offers a lot of value for the money, it would be nice to see this remain as a complete set and one day appear back for sale with me in 30 years! I really do believe this watch will age incredibly well, it looks incredible on a leather strap too!
Points of Mention
This watch is sold as a complete set and comes with everything down to the original purchase receipt from 1999, the watch also comes with all the spare links for the bracelet. This is a pre-owned watch and has been worn so signs of wear will be seen, the bracelet does have stretch. The watch has no service history and whilst running okay it could do with a service if worn as a daily.
Oris is a brand that will always have a place in my heart as my first truly Swiss made watch I ever owned, it is also what teased me into more luxury watches from Seiko and Citizen (I definitely still have the Seiko's and Citizen's!). And as a lot of you know rectangular watches are my thing, absolutely love them! So mixing the two has made a watch that I have wanted to have for the longest time and wanted to keep! But here it is for sale, maybe I can buy it for myself soon enough, or you'll be the lucky new owner!
Brand Name. How much does it mean to you? This watch offers everything you could want in a vintage watch... Incredible design, well thought out case dimensions and arguably most importantly, a very reliable movement, in this case it is the ETA 2789-1! I purchased this watch in 2017 and enjoyed my time with it, it was a true test to myself as a collector as I realised that I hold very little to brand name, sure it's nice to look down at your wrist and see that iconic crown. But at the end of the day you look down at your wrist and smile as you will NEVER see another one of these out there on another wrist!
I am proud to offer this for sale. Now don't be fooled by a limited edition run of "Only 10,000 Pieces" and instead treat yourself to this watch which you will very likely never see again online and most definitely will never see on another wrist! Now that's "Limited"!
Points of Mention
This watch has no service history though is working as it should and running nicely. The dial is very clean and the overall case condition is very good, showing typical signs of wear you'd expect for a vintage watch, however the gold plating is holding strong! The watch is paired on a Tissot leather strap with a gold tone buckle, suits the watch beautifully!
This watch will test you as a collector on how much you value brand name, this brand is a true unknown brand that I cannot find anything on (If you can do let me know!), but yet offers everything you could possibly want in a vintage watch. Great design, great size and a very reliable movement, it has a damn ETA in! So if you are a true collector we all know this is a no-brainer.
It is no secret that I have a lot of love and admiration for Tudor, this watch really brought them back into the market and started everything we now love in Tudor. It is amazing how far they have come in such a short time. Plus there is something very cool about knowing that they will never be making another of these watches again, sure they have the "New & Upgraded" version which is truly new and upgraded, but I mean who doesn't love a classic?
Points of Mention
This was is being sold as watch only, no box, papers or spare links. It will currently fit up to a 6 1/4inch wrist. The watch is showing signs of age and wear, scratches throughout and marks towards the clasp. The watch is running well though has no service history.
It is no secret these have been climbing and I suspect we will not see that slow down anytime soon! I think this is a great example of one that can be found for a decent price and with a service and clean up will be like brand new for any collector out there!
I am excited to bring you this beautiful 9ct Gold Omega from 1962, powered by the reputable Cal. 552! This lovely watch comes with it's Omega box which, just like the watch, is in great condition! It was serviced in 2017 and running great. The aethetic of this watch is beautifully clean, an eggshell dial, gold indices, black hour and minute hand with a gold tone second hand! Although this is one clean dial you cannot help but get lost in the small details, you will continue to love this watch for many many years!
Clean, classic and honest! 3 things that are becoming increasingly difficult to get all in one with a vintage Tudor, especially an Oyster! Here we have the reference 7803 with a beautiful egg shell dial, gold numerals and hands with a beautiful contrasting blued second hand! Original "Oyster Patent" crown and the lovely Tudor rose inside the iconic Tudor Crown at 12o'clock! You really are getting the best of both logos with this one.
Zenith is a brand most famous for their El-Primero movement and the watches that feature that movement, therefore most people overlook their other creations. The Sporto range is definitely one of those, built to be a versatile and sturdy watch to be worn by anyone, it was designed with aesthetics in mind and a great movement. This lovely example features a nicely placed date and what was once a blue dial that has now turned a very faded blue verging on slight purple.
This watch really stands out in a group of vintage watches, that dial catches the eye perfectly and really suits with whatever you decide to wear. I think this is the perfect, affordable, vintage watch for under £500.
Points of Mention
This is a vintage watch from 1980s and does have signs of age, the dial has patina'd from a vivid blue to a very light/faded blue that is almost a purple. The watch still has it's original signed crown too and is working, though service history is unknown.
When I first saw this watch I could not get over that dial, I actually first thought it must be a redial, but after investigation and asking various other watch dealers and experts we have agreed that this dial is original, it would have been a vivid blue and has turned to a near purple/faded blue which is just beautiful. I have said it a million times and will say it a million more times, Zenith offer some of the very best designed and best bang-per-buck in vintage right now.
The Rolex Explorer II Reference 16550 is an interesting reference as it is known as a "Transitional Reference", meaning it features specs that become the future of the model. This had the 40mm case, sapphire crystal, updated Cal. 3085. It also had a makeover with the dial, which is the most interesting part of this watch with its creamy lume! This reference of the Explorer II was only made from 1985 until 1989, making it a very short production run, so I suspect there aren't an awful lot of them out there, especially in this condition, at this price!
Points of Mention
This watch is sold as watch only and comes with no box or guarantee, however the watch does come with Rolex Service history from 1998 / 2002 / 2006 with the most recent being November 2018, therefore the watch is still within its 2 year Rolex Service Guarantee. The dial is the original tritium dial from 1986, however the hands have been replaced with Super Luminova service hands in the most recent service. The bracelet is an original Rolex oyster bracelet with spare links. The watch is in great condition.
The Explorer II has always been seen as the "Affordable GMT-Master II", though I think that has changed a lot in the past few years! The option of a white dial makes it incredibly attractive and also a great value proposition for a GMT watch! This model even more so, only 4 year production! Also I am excited to announce with confidence that this is one of the VERY best priced white dial Ref. 16550 on the market right now!
Some watches and watch designs just don't age well… The Oris 65 is a design that has already proven the test of time, the design is based on an earlier model released by Oris, redesigned and packaged with modern proportions and most importantly modern build quality. They offer one of the, arguably, best looking vintage inspired dive watches on the market right now, in regards to value they are certainly tough to rival yet alone beat!
This watch offers everything the modern day collector wants and requires in a watch, truly timeless an brilliant design, functionality that goes beyond just the everyday and a reassurance in build quality and movement… It ticks every single box for that!
Points of Mention
This watch is sold with it's original box and paperwork, it is also still under its manufacturing warranty. The watch is sold on its original brown leather strap with buckle, the watch is working flawlessly.
I have always had, and still have, a soft spot for Oris. It was the brand that introduced me to the true modern Swiss timepieces and from there it has been a crazy ride... The 65 range truly offers everything you can want in a modern, vintage inspired, watch for such a competitive price, even at retail! So pre-owned they are an absolute bargain!
This lovely vintage Doxa features a nicely, evenly, patina'd egg-shell dial with lovely hands, applied numerals and indices... Overall it offers a lot of great vintage design cues, for not a lot of money. If you had the brand name Omega or Rolex on this you would be looking at a much higher price tag, whereas a brand name like Doxa only attracts the attention of those who know.
Points of Mention
This is a used, vintage watch therefore signs of age will be seen. The watch is currently running though comes with no service history. The case is in overall good condition with a few signs of wear, same with the dial.
It is no secret I am a lover of vintage watches, whilst we have been selling more modern pieces as of late I am doing my best to bring in many vintage pieces too. This is a great example of what you can get for very little money, relatively of course, in the vintage watch market!
From the moment I first shared a photo of this watch it was immediately nicknamed the Technos "Ellipse" after the Patek Philippe Ellipse, in no way am I trying to compare this watch quality wise to the Patek, just merely the similarities in the looks. This watch is finished incredibly well with a beautifully complex integrated bracelet that will fit almost every wrist size with a sliding clasp. The dial is a sun burst finished piece of steel with applied indices and sword hands, no seconds which adds to the simplicity of the design. Manually wound calibre inside which works well... Overall it is a great package, looks incredible on the wrist and feels super comfortable!
Points of Mention
This watch is sold as watch only and comes with no box or paperwork. The watch is original and shows some signs of age but is in overall very good condition. There is no service history with the watch, though it is running well, service would be recommended if worn daily.
This watch is brilliant for someone looking for a watch with a similar design to the Patek Philippe Ellipse, but doesn't want to pay that insane price! But also it is great for those into unusual designs, rectangular watches and just something a little bit fun! That is exactly the reason why I picked it up.
